> Groomers and Ranch Hands need no experience, it is a volunteer position and there is no age range.
Anyone can help. Location of need is determined by the location of a Rescue Ranch and/or Foster Home.

Must be available 24/7 to be contacted.
Must be able to examine a rescue within 12-24 hrs.
We prefer that the labor be volunteered or if possible a cut cost for examination, shots, or follow ups.
Must have all credentials.

Must have at least 3 references of people
or ranches that you have worked with.

Rescue Ranch and Foster Home
• Requires shelter such as a barn or
stable.
• Requires one acre per horse and land must be fenced.
• Hay and feed available at your expense.
• Vet and Farrier available within 24 hours at your expense.
• Expenses will be paid back after adoption.
• You must maintain all records of the expenses and receipts.
• After adoption, all money is to be sent to headquarters, along with receipts and expense sheets. We will reimburse you with a check and send it to you
• You need to have volunteers and/or ranch hands (If you wish to pay some ranch hands that is an expense out of your pocket and will not be reimbursed) There must be at least one volunteer per every five horse.
• Must be able to give as much love and attention as possible everyday to all horses.

Investigator
• Requires travel-can be more than two
hours.
• Must be available and be able to be reached 24/7.
• Must have a clean background.
• Must be responsible and reliable.
• Investigate abuse and neglect cases without telling owners that you are there with the foundation.
• Must be able to speak professionally both in person and over the phone.
• Your identity with the
Equine Rescue & Protection
Humane Society Inc. must be
kept secretive from everyone, except for your law enforcement and
lead investigator, due to the need of anonymity. On any cases where
your asked for your name use only your first name or nick name NO
LAST NAMES.
• Must be able to speak to people without giving suspicion that you are there on an investigation.
• Must be able to handle stressful, hectic, and emotional situations with control.
• Must be able to confront owners of the horses in question.
